Our Family Care Philosophy Handbook describes how our organization differs from the rest in respect to pediatric therapeutic care planning. Our mission and values shape our policies and positively influence our outcomes.

Our Attendance Policy was most recently updated in May of 2026 with previous edits in February of 2025, January of 2024, and March of 2022. This connects with our philosophy on why consistency is so important for outcomes.

The Financial Responsibility Policy was last updated in May of 2026 with previous updates in February of 2023 and inital creation in April of 2021. This policy describes the patient's financial responsibility with regards to payment of services.

The Safety and Supervision Policy was most recently updated in May 2026 after combining multiple policies for improved clarity and expectations prior to moving into our new location. This policy describes the responsiblity of caregivers in regards to the supervision of children within the clinic environment, in shared spaces, and in the parking area.

The Communication Policy was most recently updated in May of 2026 after combining multiple policies from the patient-facing, and staff policy manual. This describes which forms of communication are appropriate, proper timeframes for return communication, and the proper channels in which communication should flow.

Our Mandated Reporting Policy was originally written in April of 2021 and most recently updated in May of 2026. This describes our internal process for handling concerns or suspicious for abuse or neglect of the most vulnerable populations.

The Illness and Infection Control Policy was most recently update in May 2026 after various updates since its original creation in April of 2021. This policy describes when children should be kept home from the clinic, our cleaning policies, and how we keep our friends with medically complexity safe.
