NEW - FULL TIME Physical Therapist
PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPIST -
FULL TIME/FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE

The Bizzy Bees team is in search of a dedicated and passionate pediatric physical therapist to join our team. Our pediatric therapy clinic in Cumberland, RI has expanded and our caseloads are overflowing! Our PTs work with a variety of neurological, physical, musculoskeletal, surgical, and developmental diagnoses and age groups from infants to elementary school age children. This clinician must have pediatric experience and values that align with our mission including child-centered, play-based and inter-professional. Currently this position is full time - 40 hour work week.

Hard-working and motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply as Bizzy Bees Therapy does offer a full-time 6-month fellowship program aimed at fast-tracking pediatric-specific teaching including equipment management, NDT intervention, infant handling, and care for medically complex children. This is only offered to qualified candidates with a specific interest and passion for pediatric specialization.

Pediatric Rehabilitation Intern - Student Volunteer Program

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prep materials, equipment, and setup for intervention sessions
-
Support clinicians during treatment sessions
-
Support clinical team in maintaining the therapeutic milieu during transitions and high traffic periods
-
Maintain a clean and safe environment for all children
-
Maintain supplies needed for intervention delivery
-
Create materials and resources for children including social stories, visual schedules, and educational handouts utilizing various mediums including digital art (Canva, etc.)
-
Other accessory roles as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in high school with an intended career in pediatrics
-
Currently enrolled in Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral level program affiliated with pediatric care
-
Must pass background check and provide strong academic, professional, and/or personal references
-
Must abide by all HIPAA laws and regulations for the privacy and protection of our children
-
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
-
Must be mentally flexible, creative, compassionate, inclusive, and kind
-
Must be professional in all interactions and communication with families, children, and staff
-
Must have strong time management skills
-
MUST be comfortable singing, playing, getting messy, and having fun!
